Help Stop Domestic Violence

Why is Ron in a Tub?

Ron will spend 42 hours in a bathtub to honor the Women's Shelter's 40+ years of services to domestic violence victims.

The tub will be on a platform 20 ft in the air in recognition of the 20 women being turned away each month due to lack of space and funds.

Ron and his tub are located at Luxury Bath Remodeling, 2717 Hwy 14 West, Rochester, MN.

As a community, we can put an end to domestic violence.

About Rochester Area Women's Shelter

We work with battered women and domestic abuse victims from Rochester and the 11 surrounding counties of Southeastern Minnesota – with no conditions and no judging.

Domestic violence doesn’t discriminate. It can happen to anyone regardless of education, income, race, nationality, age, or sexual orientation. Battered women can be anyone’s mother, sister, daughter, neighbor or friend. Some have lived in Southeastern Minnesota their entire lives, others are recent immigrants or have been trafficked to our area.
